- WHERE ARE HairRx PRODUCTS MADE?
HairRx shampoos, conditioners, and styling and finishing products are formulated and produced in an elegant, high-tech cosmetic facility in Italy.
- CAN THE HairRx SYSTEM BE USED ON COLOR-TREATED HAIR?
Yes, all of our formulas are 100% color safe. We do not use sulfates that can damage or strip hair color.
- HOW ARE HairRx SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS DIFFERENT FROM
OTHER HAIR CARE PRODUCTS?
HairRx formulas were carefully created by an elite team of cosmetic chemists who have also formulated outstanding products for several of the most prestigious hair care brands. The difference is that our shampoo and conditioner formulas are customized for YOUR personal hair care needs, as well as your scent and lathering preferences.
- CAN I HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO ANY OF THE INGREDIENTS IN
HairRx SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONERS?
Yes, it is always possible that someone could have an allergic reaction to a particular ingredient in any hair care product. That's why we will list all the ingredients on the back of each bottle. There are no known Gluten or Nut ingredients in any of our formulas, but there may be minute traces in some raw materials. So, we cannot certify that our formulas are 100% Gluten and Nut free. If you are not satisfied because you don’t like one or more of the ingredients or for any other reason, you will receive a 100% refund.
- DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?
No! We are Cruelty Free!
- Is it a myth that you should lather and rinse your hair twice?
It is not a myth, but it is not required for everyone. Usually people who require two latherings are those who use a lot of styling aids and other products in their hair. The first lathering removes the product residue and the second cleanses the hair. If someone uses minimal or no product in their hair, then one lathering is sufficient.
- What if I don't like MY formula?
First, we offer a money-back guarantee if you are not fully satisfied with your results. Second, you are always welcome to log into your hair profile and make any changes. Sometimes customers mistakenly answer a question incorrectly or their hair care needs have changed based on life activities (like swimming), or the weather can affect our hair as well. Rest assured that "re-customizing" is always an option to get you the best results based on your needs.
- Do you have any products without fragrance?
Not yet; however, this is something that we would like to offer in the future.
- Why don't some of your shampoos lather like I'm used to?
You don't actually need lather for your hair to be cleaned effectively. HairRx is formulated without sulfates (lathering agents) to gently cleanse without using any harsh, nonessential chemicals. We're going gentle on your hair and delivering big results.
- What is the recommended number of times you should shampoo your hair per week?
It really depends on your lifestyle and how you use products. Oily hair can sustain more washing since it doesn't have a problem producing natural oils and doesn't get as dry. Someone with dry hair should be careful to not over-wash their hair or it could become more dry and damaged. For those with an active lifestyle, a daily visit to the gym could require daily washing. For those who use a lot of styling aids, washing more often is recommended.
- Why do I need to leave the conditioner in my hair for 1-2 minutes?
We recommend that you leave the conditioner in your hair for 1-2 minutes (only from mid-lengths to ends) because shampoo naturally strips the oils and cleanses the hair. Conditioner replenishes and moisturizes the hair so it is left soft and ready to be styled.
- Do I need conditioner?
We would absolutely recommend conditioner for normal to dry hair profiles. If you have oily hair, your hair may produce enough oil on its own that it does not require conditioner.
- Why shouldn't you put conditioner on your roots?
Oil is produced from the scalp, so that will always be the first place that hair will become oily. Minimal conditioner can be used on the roots, but it should not be overdone, or else the scalp can become more oily sooner. That is why we recommend focusing mostly on the mid-lengths to ends.
- How do I remove all the conditioner from my hair?
Be sure that you rinse your hair well, even if it feels like the suds are all out. When in doubt, run your hair under water for another minute or so. You may also use a comb in the shower to separate the hair and make sure that all the conditioner rinses out.
